What did I learn?
I learned that there is various of creative processes to show ones interest, what’s on their mind, and how one may think. I learned how to think quickly and how to express myself better without words but through visual representation. Being able to describe what goes through my head when displaying images and what I like through images makes it easier and more vibrant for others to get an understanding of messages I’m trying to convey!
Challenges and Frustrations
Some challenges I have faced is the photo safari and the multistage visual blog representation. Finding things to take phots of that might be interesting on the fly applies pressure but helped me understand things can be simple and still have the same impact. The multistage visual blog representation is deemed tedious in my opinion but I felt like it was good with challenging my ability to diversify how I represent myself and to sort through different imagery. I was really frustrated with the third part due to the heavy requirement load as I feel its restrictive of how I could express my own form of visual storytelling. I was also frustrated with myself as sometimes my head gets empty which made it hard to showcase things I couldn’t find a way of expressing
Smooth processes and what I enjoyed
The first blog where I described how photography is expressive and more than just photo taking was a bit easy due to my knowledge and practice with photography. With also the deeper thinking within photography being an art form I like to investigate as the complexities of each individual image is interesting to think about on its own. I enjoyed thinking in this way and I also enjoyed the photo safari as it helped me enhance my way of thinking when taking a photo and what it may look like when it is shared.
