Introduction: Pinned Location
This exercise is to create imagery based on a desire. Creating a destination poster for a desired location to travel to or to a place previously visited. The Place I chose to make a destination portrait of is Japan.

1. Kyoto, Japan: The beauty of temples
Kyoto, Japan was the location that first came to mind when making a destination poster. When I visited Kyoto, I felt at home as its a beautiful blend of rural buildings while being a high density community environment. The access to temples and isolated lands being accessible whilst also quickly being able to explore many cities leaved much to be adored. Kyoto represents the lifestyle I want to live.

2. Images chosen: Unique representation
The images I used are pictures I took whilst being in Japan to show the connection I have to the location. I also did so to show direct inspiration as I feel the images help depict the home-like environment felt by me. I feel the emphasis of greenery expands the understanding of the area beyond the greenery. I also took these images in two different locations to present different environments of activity.

3. Artstyle: Representation
For the final poster I decided to crop me in a more bolded drawing to represent me being a foreign figure drawn into the space. I also decided to use my walking image to show me entering a new environment as a foreign figure. I used bolded text to give a pop but centralized aesthetic to the overall image. I used images and drawings to layer to the existing environment. I removed space and cropped the original image I took to condense the emphasized drawings into space to look intriguing.
